Overview

Now available! NEO Personality Personality Inventory 3 (UK Edition)

The NEO PI-R, the gold-standard questionnaire measure of the Five Factor Model (FFM), provides a detailed personality description that can be a valuable resource for a variety of professionals. The NEO PI-R is a concise measure of the five major domains of personality, as well as the six traits or facets that define each domain. Taken together, the five domain scales and 30 facet scales of the NEO PI-R, including the scales for the Agreeableness and the Conscientiousness domains, facilitate a comprehensive and detailed assessment of normal adult personality.

To access tests on our HTS 5 platform, users can choose from either a subscription or a non-subscription option. With the subscription model, users will pay an annual fee – which then allows them access to a full range of discounted pricing, based on the quantities of test takers they have. Those opting not to use the subscription model will pay our regular prices which include our full-service administration fee.

Good news! To support our customers during the Covid-19 pandemic, we are waiving the HTS 5 subscription fee from 1st April 2020 until further notice. Customers can therefore benefit from an account on our state of the art HTS 5 testing platform and access tests at our ‘with subscription’ rates. Contact us by phone on +44 (0)1865 797920 or email to discuss getting started with HTS 5. You can find out more about HTS 5 here.

Product Description

The NEO PI-R is recognised internationally as a gold standard for personality assessment. Today, reputable developers of personality tests for the occupational market will as a matter of course publish data on the relationship of their tests with the five factor model using one form or another of the NEO as the benchmark. The total amount of recent data from high level academic journals concerning the NEO PI-R underpins its quality.

Watch or download the case study explaining how NEO, together with the d2 Test of Attention, made a difference in one company's recuitment programme -- and saved them nearly £1.2 million.

Reliability

Internal consistency coefficients were calculated at 0.86 to 0.95 for both the forms (self and observer). While only three of the subtests had good long-term test-retest reliability (Neuroticism, Extraversion, Openness to Experience), all of them had high short-term test-retest reliability.

Duration

Untimed (approx 30-35 minutes)
