The DASA is the first dedicated measure of an individual's capacity to self-regulate and make sound decisions - often important facets in the process of selection, development and coaching.
To access tests on our HTS 5 platform
Users can choose from either a subscription or a non-subscription option. With the subscription model, users will pay an annual fee – which then allows them access to a full range of discounted pricing, based on the quantities of test takers they have. Those opting not to use the subscription model will pay our regular prices which include our full-service administration fee.
Good news! To support our customers during the Covid-19 pandemic, we are waiving the HTS 5 subscription fee from 1st April 2020 until further notice. Customers can therefore benefit from an account on our state of the art HTS 5 testing platform and access tests at our ‘with subscription’ rates. Contact us by phone on +44 (0)1865 797920 or email to discuss getting started with HTS 5. You can find out more about HTS 5 here.
Unlike tests of ability (measuring what people can do) or personality (measuring what they believe and value, or how they behave), the DASA measures how people actively manage themselves and make their own choices.
Chris Dewberry, author of the DASA, discusses the instrument:
- assumes that critical psychological processes, including decision-making and impulse control, are habit-based and can be deliberately controlled.
- provides tailored feedback and developmental advice on decision-making style and competence, as well as regulatory focus and mental resources.
- can be used in selection, development and coaching.
