The widely-used BRIEF-2 assessment will be available in digital format via the Hogrefe Testsystem 5 (HTS 5) online platform from September 2018!
The BRIEF-2 is the gold-standard rating form of executive function for school-aged children across 5–18 years, examining Parent, Teacher and Self-Report (for ages 11–18) perspectives. More than 1,000 peer-reviewed articles about the BRIEF family of products have been published.
Features and benefits
- Parent, Teacher, and Self-Report forms (for ages 11–18 years) are discussed in one manual.
- Contains more concise scales, which reduces the burden on the parent, teacher, and adolescent respondent.
- Features increased sensitivity to executive function problems in key clinical groups such as ADHD and ASD.
- A recently-published BRIEF-2 Interpretive Guide facilitates use of the BRIEF-2 and assists practitioners as they assess, plan interventions for, and monitor students with executive function.
About the HTS 5 edition
With the new HTS 5 edition, test users can either administer and score the test online or use it solely for quick input scoring. The BRIEF-2 will launch on HTS 5 with US norms during September 2018, with the manual already available. The measure will then be updated with UK norms in 2019.
