About us

Hogrefe Psykologien Kustannus was founded in 1965. Throughout the years we earned a reputation among Finnish psychologists as a trusted provider of high-quality psychological tests, books and training. We work together with the best experts to create tests in printed and digital format, whichever is most suited for the purpose. Our office is located in downtown Helsinki, very close to the railway station.

Core Products and Activities

Hogrefe Psykologien Kustannus has a very strong heritage in clinical psychology. The core products include Finnish adaptations of cognitive ability tests batteries by David Wechsler, Nancy Bayley and such, and original school tests, like Lukilasse and Kesky. We also run various training programs for psychologists and health care professionals, 80-90 training days every year, and publish books covering various areas of psychological expertise.

The Finnish Psychological Association founded Hogrefe Psykologien Kustannus in 1965. Finnish Psychological Association. Over the years, it has built a solid portfolio of original publications and adaptations of international tests in close cooperation with universities and the best experts from each area of psychology. The most remarkable achievement is the neuro-psychological test NEPSY, an original publication that is widely used in several countries.

After joining the Hogrefe Publishing Group, the test offering has expanded to include a broader selection of international tests, like NEO PI-3 personality inventory, and the ADOS-2 for assessing the autism spectrum disorders. In addition, we have started to publish various HR methods, e.g. the Leadership Judgement Indicator.
