The PPM ability test series is a flexible portfolio of nine ability tests. Since last week, new versions of the online output reports have been released and are now available to download from within your TA online account. Example reports from several of the tests are provided below:

New test completions will automatically use this revised report format and the old style will no longer be available. Existing PPM users will also be able to render a report, already completed, in the new/updated format.

If you’re an existing or new customer and would like to discuss the changes with a member of our team, please call us on 01865 402 900. To begin using the test series, please click here to register for a free online account.

We hope you like the new report format and welcome any feedback.

EFA Unconscious Bias Workshops

One in six (16%) workers feel they have been discriminated against when applying for a job or promotion at some point in their career because of favouritism in the workplace according to a survey we carried out earlier in the year.

The findings from the research back up a little-known theory that there is a tendency for people to recruit workers who bear similarities to themselves or to others in their company and this is done, for the most part, unconsciously.

These workshops will provide an in-depth look at unconscious bias. The session will be led by Harish Bhayani, Principal, PRM Diversity Consultants who provide specialist diversity support for organisations and individuals in all sectors and Hannah Markson, Psychologist, Hogrefe who publish more than 700 scientifically developed, objective psychometric tools for business, health and education professionals.

The course will help you measure and manage unconscious bias so that doesn’t affect your organisational performance.  Areas of vulnerability include, for example, diversity/equality/inclusion initiatives, recruitment, employee development, talent management, marketing, sales, procurement, day to day operations in all departments, leadership, governance, compliance, strategic decision-making, learning & development, legal and policy development.

The session will cover:

  • What unconscious bias is
  • How it undermines performance
  • Vulnerabilities for your organisation
  • Best practice approaches
  • Implicitly – how organisations are using this psychometric tool to measure the likelihood of discriminatory behaviour as a result of unconscious bias
  • Organisational benefits of measuring and managing unconscious bias
