Introduction to the Emotional Processing Scale Workshop - includes EPS kit!

Introduction to the Emotional Processing Scale Workshop - includes EPS kit!

Quick Overview

You are invited to attend our first introductory workshop in the use of the Emotional Processing Scale (EPS). Led by the test’s lead author, Professor Roger Baker, delegates will explore the ideas behind the scale, learn how to administer and score it, understand the meaning of the scores and how to apply it clinically and in research. All workshop delegates will receive a free EPS kit to take away with them on the day!

The workshop takes place on Friday 23rd March 2018 from 10am – 4pm at Hogrefe House in central Oxford (Find us on Google Maps). Lunch and tea and coffee facilities are all provided and are included in the price.

Product Description

The Emotional Processing Scale (EPS) is a 25-item questionnaire designed to identify emotional processing styles and potential deficits in adults. Published in 2015, the EPS has received high praise from the British Psychological Society – you can find out more about the EPS here and also read the BPS review in full.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Learn what ‘emotional processing' is, and discover its relevance to psychological disorders, medical problems, psychosomatic illness, normal healthy life, work and well-being
  • Learn how to use the scale to explore a person’s emotional processing style
  • Explore the different uses of the scale in research and therapy with the chance to put your questions to Roger Baker
  • Learn how to use the profile sheet to formulate emotion-based therapy and to measure emotional change during therapy
  • Explore your free EPS kit
  • Take the EPS for yourself, score and interpret your own test
  • Discover the digital edition

This workshop is geared towards psychologists – specifically clinical psychologists, counselling psychologists and academic psychologists (who may be doing emotion research). Although the EPS was not specifically developed for the occupational market, occupational psychologists are very welcome to attend.
