Neuropsychology: child and adult
Tests in neuropsychology are specifically designed tasks used to measure a psychological function linked to a specific brain structure or pathway. These tests can be used to assess impairment after injury or illness known to affect neurocognitive functioning, or for use in research to contrast neuropsychological abilities across experimental groups.
Tests such as the Behaviour Rating Inventory of Executive Function (BRIEF) series assess impairment of executive functioning across all age ranges.
