New Frontiers in Psychometrics
Wendy Lord, Chief Psychologist at Hogrefe, will be presenting a situational judgement test, the Leadership Judgement Indicator at the New Frontiers in Psychometrics event hosted by The Psychometrics Forum. The event will also feature Hogrefe’s new implicit association test Implicitly, presented by Pete Jones, Research Director at Shire Professional Business Consultants and author of Implicitly. Pete will outline the nature of IATs and talk about their use in exploring prejudice and assessing leaders.
This event, to be held on 3rd December, is the first annual review of innovations in the nature and use of psychometrics and will be led by The Psychometrics Forum Vice Chair, Dr Hugh McCredie. - Hannah Markson (Resident Psychologist, Hogrefe Oxford) presented a poster at EAWOP 2009, the 14th European Congress of Work and Organizational Psychology, held in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, from 13th-16th May 2009. The theme of the congress was Developing people in 21st century organizations: global and local perspective. Hannah presented a research study into the effects of rewards and recognition on employee engagement.

The Big Five Event, 8th October 2008, The Naval Club, London. A discussion of the impact of the Big Five model on personality measures in use today. Speakers included Wendy Lord, Chief Psychologist, Hogrefe Ltd.

- BACCH - British Association for Community Child Health - Annual Scientific Meeting, Reading (25th and 26th September 2007). We featured for the first time a brand new instrument authored by Dr Jacqueline Collier and Dr Dorothy McKinlay from the University of Nottingham - The Generic Children's Quality of Life Measure. Our stand also featured the Griffiths Child Mental Development Scales, the ADOS/ADI-R Autism diagnostic and observation tools, and our full range of clinical and child development assessments.
